✨ Religious or secular, wicked or committed — it doesn’t matter. Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, shlit’a, teaches that the soul is preserved within every person; amid all the filth of the world it remains, and it only needs to break through.
“It doesn’t matter — religious, secular, wicked, one who committed every sin in the world. The soul — you preserve it within me; the soul is kept in our hearts.” Even with all the filth in the world, the soul is preserved; it just needs to break through. This is the foundation Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, shlit’a, sets before us.
And even if a person hears words of ethics, sermons — it is nice, it shocks — but if it does not come from within, it has no place. It must come from within a person, for the person’s soul within to awaken. And if a person’s soul within awakens, then the person is on a good path — that is a person in a completely different world, teaches Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, shlit’a.
