✨ On the night of Hoshana Rabbah, the final decrees are issued from heaven — and there is an immense power in the Book of Deuteronomy. Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, shlit’a, calls on every person to study Deuteronomy with devotion that night, to guard every word, and to pour out the heart like water before the Lord.
All the righteous should strive on the night of Hoshana Rabbah to study the Book of Deuteronomy with devotion, teaches Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, shlit’a — for there is a very great power in the Book of Deuteronomy. Be careful with every word, and pour out your heart like water before the presence of the Lord. This is the time, he explains, when the final decrees are issued from heaven.
So make your prayer very strong, continues Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, shlit’a, and ask for everything that is in your heart from the Holy One, Blessed be He. And with G-d’s help, hope in the Lord; be strong and let your heart take courage, and hope in the Lord. There will be salvation and success, and in the merit of Moses our Teacher and the Book of Deuteronomy, there will be a great salvation.
