✨ One who thinks they will win by gifts alone will not win; one who thinks they will win by war alone will not win. Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, shlit’a, reveals the path that truly prevails: gifts, prayer, and war — and above all, a heart completely humbled before the Holy One, Blessed be He.
Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, shlit’a, teaches that one who thinks they will win by gifts alone will not win, and one who thinks they will win by war alone will not win. You need gifts, prayer, and war together. And often, in most cases, when you completely humble your heart before the Holy One, Blessed be He, that humility of the heart breaks through everything and fixes everything.
Sometimes, explains Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, shlit’a, you must go through the war — it is necessary. But if you do it wisely, with a humble heart, then even if war rises against me, in this I trust. A person receives great help from Heaven. May we merit to combine wise effort with true humility, and to draw down that heavenly help.
