✨ Moses our teacher gathered everyone — and no one can say, “I wasn’t there.” Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, shlit’a, reveals that every soul of Israel stood at the revelation at Mount Sinai, and was included in the oath Moses made the children of Israel swear on the day of his passing.
Moses our teacher gathers everyone, teaches Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, shlit’a — and no one can say, “I wasn’t there.” Whether you are a simple person or an important one, whether you are successful or not, you were there. Every soul of Israel stood together at the revelation at Mount Sinai; no one was left out of that holy assembly.
And we were all included, continues Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto, shlit’a, in the curse and the oath that Moses our teacher made the children of Israel swear on the day of his passing — the covenant that binds every generation. May we merit to live up to that oath, and to carry the light of Sinai within us every day.
