Rabbi Pinto: God Sends Help, But Are You Willing to Grab the Rope?

In this insightful shiur, Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto explains that while God constantly sends opportunities for salvation and help, we must actively participate in receiving them. Using the powerful analogy of a person trapped in a pit who refuses to grab the offered rope, Rabbi Pinto highlights how we often fail to help ourselves.

He warns against the danger of getting “stuck” or fixated – whether on a specific business idea, a potential spouse, or a particular possession. This fixation becomes a heavy burden (עול), blinding us to potentially better opportunities God places in our path and ultimately hindering our progress and even destroying our lives.

Are you truly open to receiving the help being sent your way? Learn to recognize God’s assistance and take the necessary action.
